Design for Manufacturability (DFM). UPM performs first pass DFM at no additional cost on every program, before tooling is cut. Wall thickness, gate location, draft, rib structure, and resin selection are evaluated to prevent sink marks, knit lines, warpage, and dimensional drift on enclosures and housings. STEP is the preferred CAD file format.
