Accessibility Statement

Universal Plastic Mold (UPM) is committed to making its website usable by the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities, and works to support assistive technologies such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, and keyboard-only navigation.

Conformance target

This website aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). WCAG explains how to make web content more accessible to people with visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive disabilities. UPM applies WCAG 2.1 AA as the standard for new and updated content.

Measures UPM takes

UPM works to support accessibility through:

• Semantic HTML structure with clear headings, labeled form fields, and descriptive link text
• Text alternatives for meaningful images
• Color contrast that meets WCAG 2.1 AA minimums
• Keyboard navigation with visible focus states
• Content that remains readable and functional when text is resized or JavaScript is unavailable

Known limitations

Some third-party content and older downloadable documents (such as certain PDFs) may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA. UPM is working to identify and remediate these items. If a document cannot be accessed, UPM will provide an accessible version or alternative on request.

Remediation commitment

UPM aims to acknowledge accessibility requests within one business day and to correct confirmed issues as quickly as reasonably possible. Where an immediate fix is not available, UPM will supply the requested information through an accessible alternative while the issue is resolved.
